Unformatted text preview: Assessment of Test Performance With a score of 89 (+3 = 92) out of 100, I consider my performance on the first exam adequate but in need of improvement. My initial reading of each chapter in the text and the articles in Sociological Footprints are completed daily using the assignment sheet provided at the start of class as a guide. I feel that most of the discussions conducted in class are valuable in learning and understanding the material, and therefore class attendance is important. The extent to which I followed the suggestions on the handout “How to Study for Soc. 101 Tests” are as follows: (1) I read each chapter in the text at least twice highlighting important points which I re-read 3-4 times. (2) On a daily basis, I printed the PowerPoint presentations from the course website (xythos) for the chapters being covered that day in class and recorded class notes directly on them. I then thoroughly reviewed both items before the exam.
