Brunelleschi Builds the Dome of the Florentine Cathedral Brunelleschi attends a meeting in Rome to discuss the vaulting of the copula, he thought if he were sought after more he would be more highly valued for his engineering skill on the Duomo. Turns out he was very sought after in Florence and was asked to return to complete the cathedral just as he wanted.
