Fawwaz Siddiqui Professor Decker EN-101 21456 Argument and Persuasion Essay 12/04/11 Success > Failure In the world we live in today, every student is in a competition to achieve success. After high school, many students begin their chase for a future career. However, that chase may not be easy. Different students have set different goals and dreams for themselves. Among today’s generation, there are future doctors, lawyers, businessmen/ businesswomen, engineers, architects, and more. As expected, the competition for success is going to be tough. Since the pressure can sometimes be a handful, some students might consider cheating. Although this option is forbidden in high schools and colleges around the United States, students often take the risk anyway. It is the pressure to succeed which drives these students to such extreme measures. The pressure to succeed was once a reason for cheating, and is still a reason because of the pressure which comes from parents, the pursuit of happiness, and status among friends. Parents can pressure to a student’s life in many ways. As almost everyone knows, a parent only wants the best life for their child. Quite often, this can mean adding pressure to
