General Tips  v Typeface   Always use  Courier New 12-point font v Title page  4 inches from the top centralized. The name is bold followed by the  writers name which is  not bold  v Margins   Left  margin should be 1.5 inches and the Right  is .5 inches. Top and Bottom  should be 1 inch each.  Character's Name  at 6 tabs and above the dialogue.   Dialogue  -4 tabs from the left – ends at 5.75” from the left  v Page Numbers  should be located in the upper right hand corner and  then double space and continue writing. v First Page  A screenplay begins with  FADE IN: v Last Page  At the end of your script you should type  The End  and  center it, or double space, to the far right of the page, and type  FADE
