Protectionism is it diversifiable, can you hedge against it, is it systematic? Check micro and macro facters – diversifiable or not diversifiable. What are examples as well, know how to calculate it. Why do we take into consideration after tax. Charactersistics of insurable risk. What kind are and aren’t? How do you limit exposure to different types of risk. Limit exposure to loss. “ways to limit exposure to loss” – find the right partner. FDI? Merger acquisition? Joint Venture? Under what situation. “Domestic” NPV calculations - positive and negative side effects Parent and project’s perspective – matrix. Slide name: “winners: structuring the deal…” what should you do if you accept both of them ? depends on firm’s hedging
