ORGANIZATIONS AS POLITICAL SYSTEMS 2 Organizations as Political Systems - Systems of Political Activity, with Patterns of Competing Interests, Conflict and Power Leadership Style My leadership style is very participative. I give my employees the right to make suggestions about their work profile, new projects, and organizational initiatives. I enjoy helping my staff grow both professionally and personally. I welcome initiative and creativity in my leadership role. I tend to make the work environment as lively as possible so as to encourage participation from everyone. If duties or roles become questionable or soldiers have concerns, we discuss and resolve problems immediately before they hinder an employee’s performance. Whether a business or personal issue, I have an open door policy for employees to address personal constraints that may prevent them from fulfilling their job. I tend to be flexible as far as adhering to policy goes. However, while I do encourage all to participate and give their suggestions and feedback, I have kept the power of final decision making with myself. Survey Results
