Module 2 Case Assignment 2 Prelude: I chose Option 3, since it is closest to my own reality. Having just given up my position as the Deputy Commandant of the Fort Benning Noncommissioned Officer Academy, I have extensive experience in screening potential candidates for positions within the Academy as instructors. I had to use my personal knowledge of the individual, references, and candidate records. _________________________________________________________________ Currently, our company has the dilemma of selecting from two fully-qualified applicants to fill only one open position as a contract instructor. In the information below, based on my personal knowledge of these individuals, will compare and contrast the two job candidates' skills, knowledge, and attitude, thus will provide a clearer picture as to why I recommend we hire John Doe over Snuffy Smith. Both John Doe and Snuffy Smith are retired US Army instructors. Each has graduated the Army Basic Instructor Course and the Small Group Leader Course, and taught the Ordnance Advanced Leader Course at the Fort Benning Noncommissioned Officer Academy.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
