Verga, Team Member DATE: March 8, 2012 SUBJECT: Recommended Reading- Leading Up: How To Lead Your Boss So You Both Win As a team, it is our responsibility to develop a communications training program that will assist in the communication techniques and strategies which will make our organization more successful. Part of the communication techniques and strategies in any organization is the leadership required at all levels. We must assist our boss with a way to reach success. To assist the team in developing our plan, I recommend that each member of the team read Professor Michael Useem's book Leading Up: How To Lead Your Boss So You Both Win . This book is an interesting read, relevant to developing not only our assigned task of communication techniques and strategies, but also guiding your own self-development, and the book is well-organized and follows a logical sequence of topics. Accepted in both the military and corporate domains, this book lends itself to many facets of open communication and developing strategies for the success of any organization. It is filled
