Remember enterprise systems are key in businesses’ core IT components. Resources: Ch. 8 of Essentials of Management Information Systems. Answer the following questions in 200 to 300 words: What are enterprise systems? Provide examples of organizational functions supported by enterprise systems. How does effectively implementing and using enterprise systems contribute to achieving operational excellence? What challenges are posed by enterprise applications? Enterprise Systems are complex business application used to integrate a company’s business processes. If a company has different entity within the organization this, these systems in particular will ensure that all information gets to every section necessary with little to no interruption. In turn, the company becomes more efficient and relatively easier to manage day- to-day operations. For the most part the system creates a central database where everything is stored.
