What are the three dimensions to business problems? Provide examples of each. What is the difference between IT and information systems? Describe some functions of information systems. As explained in the text the three dimensions to business problems usually have some to do with organizations, people and/or technology, which we all know have a variety of problems to deal with. Problems that exist within an organization maybe caused outdated business process, unsupported culture and attitudes, political conflicts, turbulent business environment, and complexity of task. The second problems occurs in the technology dimension cause by insufficient or aging hardware, outdated software, inadequate database capacity, insufficient telecommunications capacity, incompatibility between old and new systems and rapid technology change. I may not be dead on however I would think that the IT would be the person or technician handles repair and maintenance of an information system to ensure the quality of software, hardware and networking. They are the yin and the yang without one another they would be useless without an IT there would be no one to up kept these systems Information systems are responsible for a wide variety of different things from sending information from one point to another, storing data relevant to payroll, income and expenses, customer orders, etc. Information systems are a very complex connection, which truly is the knitting behind almost everything digital; I can only describe it as remarkable technological discovery....
