What value to we need to use for Y? If 60 Volts, applied between the + and – terminals produces a full scale reading, then: 60V/(Y Ohms + 1000 Ohms) = 6mA (Y + 1000) Ohms = 60V / .006A = 10,000 Ohms Y= 9000
