Unformatted text preview: A Day in the Life of Josie 1 A persons individual beliefs and behaviors can and do affect the actions one has on ones own health in many ways. For example, Josie an individual who is currently not in the best of health continues to submit herself to many unhealthy activities during the course of a day. Josie, who is a 58 year-old individual, is a chain smoker as well as one that is suffering from high blood pressure. Despite Josies knowledge of her high blood pressure she is one who continues not to exercise, smokes, and eats foods that are not healthy. Since Josie is a divorced woman with no children at home it is apparent that she does not take the time to care for; herself the way that she might if she, were sharing her life with another. Josie tends to use her long ride to and from work to think about the many factors that are causing her stress throughout the day, which increases the number of cigarettes that she is, smoking. Stress factors that Josie deals with within the video are that of her grandsons well-smoking....
