I do believe that specialized care has had both a positive and a negative impact on patient- centered care delivery. For example, if I was to go to my family doctor due to some unknown illness, my doctor would more than likely run tests to determine what it was that I had and if unable to treat my condition thoroughly would then send me to someone that had more knowledge on the subject to treat me.
