Cheryl, I really like this. I think many companies have strayed away from making their employees feel like their opinions matter. I think it is important for a leader to remember that they no longer do the job their employees do daily and sometimes those in the trenches may have fabulous ideas that if utilized will make the individual and the team perform much more efficiently.

It shows a lot when a leader gives an employee credit because it acknowledges that they are listening to the employees and implementing their suggestions. This may motivate other employees to get involved and work harder so they too can contribute to the innovation and improvements....
