I ran into the same problem and this is what my understanding is at this point. There are different types of indirect cost. For example indirect manufacturing costs and indirect material costs. Indirect material costs are those that make the production of a good or service possible and safe (excludes raw materials.) In this case things such as depreciation and taxes are not
