Positive Correlation – A relationship between two variables that vary similarly. As one variable increases so does the other. Negative Correlation – The opposite of a positive correlation. In this case the variables are inversely related. As one increases, the other decreases. Zero Correlation – states that there is no linear correlation between two variables.
