Competitive Analysis Strengths The number one strength that Community State Farm Insurance Agency has is brand awareness. State Farm product are known for their quality as proof in the fact that State Farm is number one for Auto Insurance in America and has been for over 65 years. Customers associate the quality of the policies offered by State Farm with the superior customer service they receive and that they can get comprehensive insurance policies as opposed to the specialized products offered by competitors. Customers appreciate that a comprehensive policy is more likely to provide them with protection when things unexpectedly arise where a specialized policy may not meet the customer’s needs when an emergency occurs. Weaknesses Community State Farm Insurance Agency is a scratch business. Therefore leads will not be provided by State Farm and the company will not start with an existing book of policies. Reliance will fall on our marketing strategy, quality of leads, the staff’s expertise, and world class customer service. State Farm is not necessarily known for having the lowest insurance rates. Customers who want a bargain are going to lean towards the competitors; however customers who want quality and excellent customer service know they can rely on State Farm products. Opportunities Community State Farm Insurance Agency will be independent of State Farm as a whole, but there is always room for learning from what others in the business have done to make State Farm so successful.
