Word of mouth, public relations and personal selling are related to each other, their main purpose is to create a reputation among friends or relatives and maintain that reputation enables you as a buyer to trust and have a better credibility towards the seller. Word of mouth I believe is the most effective, especially of you trust the source, and I am sure it is the cheapest for your business. Doris Roman Personally, word of mouth has the biggest impact on my purchasing decision. I like to get people's opinions on the quality and value of products. Also, in today's economy it is wise to be smart with your money and not go spend it on a product that appears pretty or fancier because of the packaging that it comes in or because of the store that it is sold in.
