What experiences have you had that are similar to the ones suggested by Linda Hill’s book? Any differences? If you have not been a manager yet, say that, and discuss what you will now do or not do when you take on a management position. I haven’t been a manager yet. I work with my family and I haven’t had any of those situations or experiences. Now when I became a manager I want to have a very good communication. I want them to feel close to me that they can trust me. If there is a problem they feel comfortable be telling me and we can fix it together as a team. I also want to make them feel useful that they are doing something important for the company. I will want them to become better workers to love what they do and be happy with what they’re doing.
