Think about Exhibit 1.5 on page 17. Reread the section and decide where you would place yourself on that calendar. Why? What experiences have you had that are similar to the ones suggested by Linda Hill’s book? Any differences? If you have not been a manager yet, say that, and discuss what you will now do or not do when you take on a management position. I haven’t been a manager yet. I work with my family and I haven’t had any of those situations or experiences. Now when I became a manager I want to have a very good communication. I want them to feel close to me that they can trust me. If there is a problem they feel comfortable be telling me and we can fix it together as a team. I also want to make them feel useful that they are doing something important for the company. I will want them to become better workers to love what they do and be happy with what they’re doing. I know that to make all that is a very difficult task but that it what I will try to do.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
