Hinduism is a way of life more than a religion; it is lacking in a united belief system. There is no other religion that can match that of Hinduism. Cultural values and customs are protected and human value is highly regarded. Hinduism is considered a way to enlightenment instead of based on rules like most other religions. Even though some people believe that the Hindu share a belief in a Supreme Being, Karma is like the Hindu law. It is extremely important and plays a major role in the practice of Hinduism. The belief in Karma is a belief that every living thing is connected and responsible for actions, desires and thoughts which create their destiny. Karma believes that any choices you made in the past life will affect the life we are living now and future lives. Essentially Karma is a belief in cause and effect. All in all Karma means no matter what you do, where you go, you cannot get rid of it, it will follow you even if you die. So the number one lesson in Hinduism is to do good things. The Hindu religion holds the belief of reincarnation. They believe that each soul experiences cycles of different life forms, once the soul finds total enlightenment the soul is believed to become more than a life form, something in the spiritual divine.
