Sheet1 Page 1 Example 8.4 -- Rankine cycle wth reheat and irreversibilities This spreadsheet checks the calculation of water properties following the formulae and values in W.C. Reynolds, Thermodynamic Properties in SI, Mechanical Engineering, Stanford University, Stanford CA 94305-3030 (Copyright 1979 Department of Mechanical Engineering, Stanford U.) Programing copyright J. Lewalle 1995. The order of the properties in the vector must be T,P,V,u,h,s,x Also, use conventional metric system (not SI) at input/output To use as part of problem solving, just keep the vector of properties (and units) below, everything else can be deleted except for the modules. To see the modules, pull down Tools, click on Macro, then VisualBasic editor, and open the Modules Known bug: VisualBasic does not distinguish between a blank cell and a value 0 When looking for sat. liquid properties, enter a small value rather than 0

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
