Assume the direction of current shown. (b) (2) Draw the magnetic circuit, accounting for leakage flux. (c) (2) Calculate the core flux, φ c , for the given current. Neglect leakage flux. (d) (2) Calculate the respective inductances of the air gap, L gap , and of the core, L core . (e) (3) Calculate the respective energies stored in the air gap, W gap , and the core, W core . Neglect leakage flux.
