Please refer to: http://www.bookshop.unsw.edu.au/horder.html Summary of Course Students are introduced to basic statistical concepts and methods that are widely used in economics, finance, accountancy, marketing and, more generally, business. Course topics include: descriptive statistics; probability distributions; point and interval estimation of parameters; hypothesis testing and regression models. In the computing segment of the course, students will learn to solve statistical problems in an EXCEL spreadsheet environment.
