Ryan Spiering GNED 101-001 January 25, 2012 Worldview Writing Assignment Part 1 Everyone from babies to adults has a worldview. A worldview is the “glasses” that each one of us views the world through. These “glasses” consist of all our beliefs, knowledge, and presuppositions about everything we come into contact with and everything we don’t. Naturally these worldview “glasses” are shaped by our personality, upbringing, experiences, etc and influence every choice and thought we make. (Word Count 63) A Biblical worldview is the worldview of someone who adheres to the teachings of the Christian Bible. Having a Biblical worldview means that you believe in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, who came to earth in the form of a man, humbled Himself, and became obedient to death, even death on the cross so that He might be a propitiation for our sins.
