SQL SQL refers to query language and defines the structure of the data, modify the db and specify security constraints. SQL has serval language parts: DDL : Provides commands for defining,deleting,modifying relation schemas. DML: Includes commands for inserting, deleting and modifying tuples into the database. View Definition: Includes commands for defining views. Transaction control: Includes commands for specifying the beginning and ending of transactions.
