PRIVACY POLICY & MARKED WORK Due to recent changes in the University’s Privacy Policy, the student’s name, ID and mark, should never be left together out in public. As a result, students are required to have a cover sheet on their assignment upon submission. The cover sheet must have their name, ID# and section # on it. This must be made very clear to them. When marking the assignments, DO NOT leave any comments or marks on this cover sheet. Leave the marks and comments on the first inside page of the assignment. Assignments treated as such can be left in the front of the class or in the appropriate hand back boxes outside the WEEF lab (located near the first year engineering office). Marking TAs can request specific formatting of solutions (for example: box around solution, new page for each problem, Show your work, Show all your steps, Include neat

With respect to quizzes, students are asked to provide their own piece of paper in the tutorial to perform the quiz. Instruct the students to fold their quiz in half, and write their name, ID # and section # on the outside of the folded piece of paper. When marking the quizzes, only put marks and comments on the inside of the folded piece of paper. Quizzes treated as such can be left in the front of the class or in the appropriate hand back boxes outside the WEEF lab (located near the first year engineering office).
