Please re-check who your partner is for the week as we have had a lot of changes to the class list. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In this assignment you will be using loops for repetition and performing file I/O. Question 1 A chemical engineer is studying the growth of algae near a water-pipe intake. The two types of algae that grow there are: • A red type whose area grows at a rate of 1.3% per day • A green type that doubles in area every week Write a program that: • Prompts for initial areas of red and green algae. The program should use a loop to verify that the initial areas are > 0. • Calculates and outputs the area of the red algae every day until the area is 1.5 times, or more than, the initial area. The data should be displayed in a table with columns for day and area. • Calculates and outputs the green algae’s area for 15 weeks
