You are provided with a 0.5 mM concentration solution of 17 -estradiol. The desired dosage of estradiol is 0.2 mg/kg body weight. What volume of estradiol will you inject to achieve the desired dosage in this large crustacean? Mass = 90.0g = 0.090 kg 17 B-estradiol = 272.38 g/mol 2. Describe the chemical structure and nature of the hormones cortisone, testosterone and thyroxin. Why do these hormones have limited solubility in crayfish saline? Thyroxine has a molecular weight of 776.9 and therefore it is relatively large. It has two benzene rings attached by an ether bond. Testosterone has a molecular weight of 288.4. It has 3 benzene rings and a pentane ring that are all adjacent to each other.
