Why do these hormones have limited solubility in crayfish saline? Thyroxine has a molecular weight of 776.9 and therefore it is relatively large. It has two benzene rings attached by an ether bond. Testosterone has a molecular weight of 288.4. It has 3 benzene rings and a pentane ring that are all adjacent to each other. Cortisone has a molecular weight of 360.4. It has a similar ring structure to testosterone
