Marketing 360 Assignment 8 Michael Knutson, Curtis Emerson, Ryan Murphy, Carter Edwards 29 April 2011 Company Name: Spice of Life Product Name: Spice Straws Target Market: College Kids, Vacationers Customers Need: Cheaper and smaller spice packets 1. To gain mass appeal for our spice straws we will use a social media campaign. This will include a Twitter account with product updates, promotional deals, etc. A Facebook page will also be utilized so that customers can comment and select their favorite spices. We will then rank the spices on the Facebook page based on popularity. Hopefully this will produce consumer-generated media. We plan to create a jingle that will be played via the radio on top 40 radio stations listened to by our target market. The overall message we intend to endorse through our promotional mix is that you don’t have to be working a full time job to eat well-spiced foods. 2.
