PPPodcast: Week 14 Welcome to the PPPodcast for Week 14. Congratulations, you've made it to the final week of PLPA 200. During the semester you have learned about the impacts that plant disease epidemics have had on human societies, as well as the impacts that humans have had on the spread, development, and management of plant disease epidemics. You've been introduced to controversial issues, such as the use of genetically modified crop plants and the use of pesticides for plant disease management. You've learned about basic biological principles, such as Koch's postulates and the central dogma. In short, you are now more aware of how the food that you eat and the agricultural products that you use every day are produced, and the challenges faced by those who produce them. This puts you in a group of select individuals who are educated on the topic of agriculture.
