Unformatted text preview: MIE335S Lab 06  RSA Part II Winter 2012 MIE335 Lab 06: RSA Part II 1 Introduction This lab is to provide you with experience implementing RSA encryption/decryption discussed in lecture and tutorial. In the last lab, you should have seen computational issues arise from the use of large numbers. This lab is to implement (1) the algorithmic workaround, (2) finding your own e , and (3) encrypting more than a single integer. 1.1 Deliverable Submit a single MATLAB mfile that will contain all your functions to complete the lab. Your MATLAB function should take in 3 parameters and return 4 parameters. The 3 input parameters are p , q , and the message m . Your function needs to return the integers e and d that are used to form the keys, the encrypted message c , and the results of decrypting ( m ) the encrypted message ( c ). Your file should be named (in lowercase only) lab06 utorid.m . For example, if this is lab 1 and for UTORid of doejohn, name the file lab01 doejohn.m . Submit your file by midnight the night of your lab.....
