READING REFLECTION PAPER 1 Reading Reflection Paper As I reflect on my early childhood reading, I remember my mother reading to me when I was very little. We used to have the Child Craft books and the first two books of the series were nursery rhymes and short stories. Among others, some of my favorites were, “I Never Saw a Purple Cow”, “Hippity Hop to Bed”, and “After my Bath”. My mother and I used to sit together for many hours reading in the living room when I was very young. My step-father and grandparents also used to sit and read to me frequently from the Child Craft books since they were my favorites. As I got older, I wanted to read more on my own. I remember reading books like “Green Eggs and Ham”, “Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now”,” Where the Wild Things Are”, Child Craft books, and a book about a giraffe named “Idnac” that was made for me with my name spelled backwards. When I was very young, I enjoyed reading with my mother, step-father, and grandparents
