Martinez Business 401 Module 2 Globalization and Global Strategic Planning Case Assignment 2 Dr. Carmen Castro For the following assignment I need to first , identify some "cultural mistakes" from the first articles used for this assignment ("The pitfalls of cross-cultural business"), Second, select a company from the second article ("Small Business- A special report") and then analyze that company's "cultural" approaches. Also, I have to discuss how the company I selected approaches foreign markets from the perspective of culture, and comment on how they should manage "cultural mistakes" that involve "cultural differences". There are several cultural mistakes that business persons make that can spoil a deal. The first cultural mistake that people make is to make gestures and signs that have a bad meaning. This may be perceived as insulting and can lead to a breakdown in relationship. Further, there can be differences in body language that can lead to misunderstandings. Further, there are differences in drinking habits that can lead to errors and even a break
