Recruiting section: Call center jobs have a high turnover rate. This time of year we are expected have a large growth as many people are looking to purchase American made products as gifts. We started out as a small company and many customers remember us that way. Even though a large percentage of our business is at Valentine’s Day we also do at least 30% of our business during the holidays. As a result we are stepping up our recruiting methods for the holidays. Many of the businesses in our field are hiring more workers this year as it is anticipated to be a big shopping season. For instance, “Macy's Inc (M.N) will hire about 4 percent more seasonal workers this holiday season as it anticipates higher sales” (Reuters, 2011). Other retailers are doing the same, “Last year, retail added more than 627,000 seasonal workers, and according to snagajob.com, some managers expect to hire 5 % more workers this year” (Eyewitnessnews, 2011). In a previous section we determined that this is the job description for our customer service representatives, JOB SUMMARY: Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. Exclude individuals whose duties are primarily sales or repair. Since many of our customer service representatives work from home we can hire much
