Selection System: We have decided that we will be hiring 25 new seasonal employees for the holidays. Ten of these will be in house and 15 will be through Alpine Access to handle sales and returns calls. The first step in our process is screening our applicants: This will vary depending on if it is for in house employees or employees for the outsourced customer service that we employ. For in house employees: We will go through resumes, and applications for those skills and job history that fit what we are looking for. We use a program that scans all applications and resumes received for certain key words, this helps to filter out those applicants that are not a good fit for the job. For employees through Alpine Access: They have their own proprietary way of hiring employees. We do have final say on all employees that they hire. We will want to have a unified force. The seasonal employees should be the same level of superb customer service that we have come to expect from Alpine Access. The next step in the selection process is phone interviews: Many other companies would do testing here, as this is a seasonal position and customer service is a basic type of skill set we will require no testing for this position.
