Kimbra Ussery ENGL 1101 11/7/2011 In his review of Demon in the Freezer for Entertainment Weekly , Daniel Fierman states that what Preston has written is “another ripping real-life horror story – one made all the more disturbing by his conclusion.” I do not agree with this statement. There was nothing “ripping” about this book. Yes, it may have been “disturbing” but not in a positive way. What conclusion is the reviewer speaking of? It reads like a thriller, yet is all to true.” In my opinion, it did not read like a thriller. There would be thirteen pages of details then something interesting would happen in one paragraph to move the story along then there would be thirty
