Always take every opportunity given when determining your career choice. Explain: You cannot just think about what you want to do. The only way to know for sure that you are interested in a particular job is to get involved in that career path. Sometimes you may find that what you originally thought you wanted to do may not be your passion. A great technique to ensure you take every career opportunity is to keep a “Really Big List” of everything that could possibly benefit your future – from contacts to possible internships and even companies you are interested in. It will help you plan, network, and seem overall more organized in the formation of your future. Most importantly it will help show a direction in your career path. However, I would not limit my “Really Big List” to just job opportunities in the pharmacy field. To grab every opportunity, I would also need to research my options in the chemistry field too. I must check out every door that my degree will open for me to find what I truly love. Illustrate: Your “Really Big List” is like a planner for the rest of your life. Here you can store important contact information and record opportunities that you can take to get on the career path that is meant for you.
