But the unemployment rate for all workers with college degrees is a quarter the rate for high school graduates (Carnevale 2). Having attended college will possibly bring you more money, but what else do you hope to gain from going to GSU? Imagine that the time is ten years from now; what type of a person will you be and how will having gone to college have made you that person? In attending Georgia Southern University, I hope to obtain more than just a college degree. One factor that really persuaded me to attend this university is the experience I would be getting while I was here. Georgia Southern University has many options available for students while we are still enrolled. We can be offered work studies and internships that will increase our skills and then make them more valuable to an employer. They will also help you to get a job lined up for after graduation. Looking at a different kind of experience, this will also be the first lined up for after graduation....
