AMAZON.COM Founded in 1994 by a man named Jeff Bezos. Amazon was the first successful bookseller through the Internet. Annual sales in 1998 totaled more than $500 million. Customers need to provide shipping, billing address, and credit card information. Information will then be saved for future purchases. Strategy: make an online experience for customers simple and pleasant.
