ECE 231 – Fall 2010 Programming Assignment 7 Due: Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 11:59 PM To create an electronic circuit, we can have three main types of components: (1) resistors, (2) voltage sources and (3) amp sources. Each one of these devices is connected within the circuit to two nodes. You will be creating a sorted list of components within a circuit using the node and overall list guidelines given below. List Node Class (called node ) The data items in each node will be: Type of component (see numbers above – integer value called type) Value of the component (double type called value) First node of the component (integer value called node1) Second node of the component (integer value called node2) Pointer to the next node (node pointer called next) The data items above define a node of the list. The list node class will also contain the following public functions: A constructor with four arguments (all of the data items, not the pointer, as listed above – in that order) “get” functions for each of the data items A getNext function to return the value of the next node in the list And, it should include a definition of a friend to the overall list class
