To: Members of the Bangor School Board From: Cameron Masters Nov 15, 2011 Re: Proposal for the opening of unused school gyms to the public for afterschool sports Dear Members of the Bangor School Board, It has come to the attention of many parents and citizens of the city of Bangor including myself that there is a lack of afterschool sports programs available to the children of Bangor. There are some programs offered through the Bangor Y and the Bangor Parks and Rec department, but these programs have limited gym space and only run once or twice a week. What I am proposing is to open the unused school gyms between the hours of 5:00pm and 8:30pm three times a week to be used for supervised sport activities such as basketball and volleyball. Benefits and Goals of Program The Goal of the proposed project is to create a competitive recreational sports program that would allow children as young as 5 and as old as 18 to become more involved in sports. This program would provide children with activities that would: 1) Help them lead more active lives and therefore healthier lives.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
