One thing is true though is that until you step into the classroom you can not possible understand the effort that goes into teaching these children. Teachers have challenges not only in the classroom but also in there own ability to teacher. Each state has regulations and qualifications that must be followed. The state of Ohio has one hundred and four pages to the development plan that the teachers must use to improve there teaching skills. The Ohio State Teacher Development Program for basic instruction deals with two primary objectives. The first is to oversee the quality of teaching that occurs. This is done to promote strong and effective teaching. The second objective is to provide growth and support for teachers. The growth and support part is the part that concerns me the most.
