MGMT 29000-002 Programming for Business Applications Fall 2011 Lab 5 Lab Purpose: The purpose of this lab is to familiarize you with the basics of lists and arrays, and get you started with programming interactive stories that involve events. Lab Instructions: Description: This lab has two parts: (1) Create an algorithm, using a flowchart, and implement in Alice for a number of airplanes which land on the airport’s runway one by one. You do not need to create an airport environment, but are welcome to be as creative as you wish (and have time for). Use lists and/or arrays to implement your program effectively. It is recommended that you create a method or function for landing. (2) Continuing on the first part, use Alice events to handle mouse clicks. When the mouse is clicked on any airplane on the ground, that airplane takes off. Please make sure there is no crash when airplanes take off (i.e., if there’s a plane or anything else in front of them when they take off, they must not run through or into it).
