Critical Foundations Project  Name:  Jennifer Moya  Step 4: Source Evaluation    Directions:  Use the  CARS  Checklist ( Credibility, Accuracy, Reasonableness, Support )   to evaluate  the information sources you discovered as a result of performing a search on a current or historical  critical thinker. You must have at least  three  sources to evaluate.  Please aware that some of  the  following questions on the check list require yes or no responses, while others require open ended  response. o Using the computer, either highlight or underline your answer choices for YES or No  responses. o For questions that require an open ended response, type your responses in the spaces  provided.  Credibility If a source is credible, it is: Trustworthy; the quality of evidence and argument is evident; the author's credentials are available; quality  control is evident; it is a known or respected authority; it has organizational support.
