You may need to refer to additional sources of information outside of your manual and lecture material covered in lab. Answers must be typed. Drawings may be done by hand. 5pts 1.) How is RNA structurally similar to DNA? What are three differences between DNA and RNA? 2.) Draw and label a 4-nucleotide strand of RNA, including the phosphate group, the 5-carbon sugar, and the four different nitrogenous bases found in RNA. Make sure to include all 4 of the different nitrogenous bases. 3.) What is transcription? What is translation? Where in the cell does each process happen? What are the different types of RNA involved in DNA transcription and translation and what do they do?
