Getting Help - Lesson 10 2 Objectives Start the Windows Help and Support system. Locate help topics using the Help and Support Center,  the Index, and the Search box. Add topics to and delete topics from a Favorites list. Print a Help topic. Use the “What’s This?” feature. Use Window’s Help System. Access help inside a Windows XP application program.

Getting Help - Lesson 10 3 Windows Help and Support System There are a number of ways to get help when  working in Windows XP. The three most common methods are Select the  Help and Support  option from the Start  menu. Press  F1  whenever you see Help on a menu bar. Select  Help  whenever you see a Help command  button or Help as an item on a menu.

Getting Help - Lesson 10 4 The Help and Support Center The figure below is the Windows XP Help and Support center dialog box.  This box opens if you select the  Help and Support   Center  option on the  Start menu. There are four options  for getting help in this  dialog box: Pick a Help topic Ask for assistance Pick a task Did you know?
