Description This course is designed to provide you with an introduction to the field of personality psychology. You will be given the opportunity to  learn the ways in which psychologists describe and measure individual differences in personality.  Through this class, you should… Develop an understanding of some of the most frequently studied individual differences in personality psychology Become familiar with the measures used to test for differences in personality Learn to critically evaluate both scientific and popular personality tests and research Learn about the history of the scientific study of personality Teaching Philosophy I love observing, learning about, and conducting research on individual differences in human behavior. Through this class, I hope to  pass this on to you. I hope you will come away from this class with a deep curiosity about the causes of human behavior and a respect  for psychological research. I would love my class to have a relaxed atmosphere where students  courageously ask questions  and  share their personal insights  about the material being taught. Students can benefit most from this class by thinking often of how the  things they learn in class can apply to their interactions with others in their day to day lives. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
