Question 1 It is given the following probability function of a discrete random variable X P(X) 1 0.05 3 0.25 7 0.10 10 0.30 15 0.30 Calculate the expected value and the variance of the variable X. Question 2 An urn contains 6 token numbered from 1 to 6. We draw randomly simultaneously (that is all the pairs have the same probability of being drawn and we cannot have 2 token with the same number) 2 tokens. (a) Build the random variable associated to the sum of the values on the two tokens.
