Terminology - GLB Lesbian and gay (not homosexual, except in some scholarly writings) Bisexual – attracted to both genders, as long as they exhibit the other personal qualities they are seeking Queer – some gays and lesbians have adopted the term as a form of confrontation with conventional ideas, but rarely is this term acceptable for “straights” to use -- and it is offensive to many gays and lesbians
